One of the aspects of discipleship is doctrinal maturity. We want to stress that this is only ONE aspect of discipleship. Jesus indeed taught and in His Great Commission says:
Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
We are indeed to teach and indeed learn. But, if we fail to do what we learn, we are no more than white-washed tombs– clean and attractive on the outside, but dead inside. Therefore, we exhort you to see discipleship as a progressive process of sanctification where you are dying to self and being made alive in the image of Jesus. Press into Him and “be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:2). For the doctrinal part, we are in the process of compiling a library that will help you and will appeal to those who either have a propensity to learn from listening or those who prefer to read.
